muffler eliminator

has anyone ever tried running without a muffler, I know ***** ***** *****, my neighbor has a 1990 corvette with with these and stock cat converters and it sounds very healthy, so do any companies make these for f-bodies specifically 82-85

I'm currently running SLP headers w/y-pipe into an intact 3" cat, then into the stock 2-1/4" I-pipe, no muffler, and then it spits into dual tailpipes with tips. It has an aggressive tone upon acceleration, but at idle and cruise, it's surprisingly quiet. I've driven it for a week this way now, and I'm starting to really like it. I'm told that it's not objectionably loud outside the car, and I've gotten some compliments on it. Some will say it's a ******* setup, but I'm considering using a better variation of this exhaust.
Now, I'm a bit confused - I've never seen any non muffler shop produced "muffler eliminator". What does it look like? Any pics? Just curious.

I run Headers into High Flow cat with No Mufflers, not to loud for normal driving but when you get on it it has a major rap to it.

I dont think I could go back to mufflers now.
