headers or catback first

headers or catback first

should i get headers or catback first...right now i got flowtechs going into a 2.,25" y-pipe with crappy bends and stuff......now should i get new headers...like the hedmans and ypipe or the mac catback exhaust...which would i benefit more from

Well...if you already have the Hooker cat back....u shouldnt need a new one....I would get the Hooker 2055's...or Hedmann headers with the Ypipe for your car...You would benefit more from that...than another catback with a restictive Y........Whats wrong with the Headers you have now? Why not just find somebody to make a mandrel bent Y? Or maybe see if the Hedmann Ypipe they sell seperate would work or not......Just my .02...Good luck

Assuming all is stock, I would think manifolds and the crappy y pipe would be more restrictive rather than the factory cat-back.

my hooker got damaged cuz i made solidish hangers(welded pieces of 8 gauge steel) for it...2 in back and one in the tranny tunnel....and cuz of my carelessness of not replacing the brokedn originals right the first time and fabbing up stuff on the spot, it hung a lil low and its really scraped and dinged up
