Flexible exhaust tips
Flexible exhaust tips
I want to make my 92 Z look awesome and i dont have enough money for a new exhaust system right now, so i was thinking about putting some exhaust tips on. However, the stock exhaust pipes now are hidden underneath the rear and are angled so they're pointed downwards. Is there a flexible exhaust tip to put on to get the pipe to come straight out the back? Or is it better to just get flexible pipe and connect to the stock pipe and then put a tip on it? Will this create back pressure and loss of power?
Thanks everyone!

Look at some parts stores... most will have already bent steel tubes that you can use. Just chop the factory peices off the muffler and weld these on in the way you want them to point out, then put a good looking tip on them. I saw a TA that had that once... looked good.
