headers

hey im helpin a friend out with puttin a fresh motor in his 82 z and we are wondering.. he ordered some headers for it , put them on before or after the engine is in?

Transmission: Probuilt 700R4 - 2800 Stall Midwest

Axle/Gears: 3.42

You can put them on before you put the motor in, it really doesn't matter.
