TICK noise after header install
i just installed some dynomax shorty headers on my car from Advanced auto, work great i think cept for a ticking noise on the passenger side rear near the fire wall, its just a loud tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick really fast and can hear above loud exhuast...... i cant tell if its comeing from a header leak or a lifter or rocker or somthing in the head.... n e suggestions or answers???

Sounds exactly like an exhaust leak. Probably at the passenger collector gasket (don't be suprised if this turns into a chronic battle for you...), since the engine torquing on its mounts stresses the collector joints so much.

i tightend the header bolts and still didnt fix it, so i was thinking idk maybe oil is low, so i took the dip stick out when it was running and it stopped as soon as i pulled it out a lil!!!! i was like holy shizza and sure engough i put it back in and the tick was that, easy fix!
