Anyone want to sell their exhaust?
Hey we're building up an '82 Trans Am with a warmed over carbed small block, and I'm wondering if anyone has any used headers/Y-pipe for sale in decent shape. This site used to have a parts/cars for sale section but I don't see it anymore.
If so, please post here or e-mail me. I'm particularly interested in the Edelbrock set up. But if someone's got a Hedman or Hooker set up with a custom Y-pipe that they've made, that might be okay too.
No gold-diggers please, a new Edelbrock combo is only $319.
Just fair offers. Thanks.

I have a coated set of edelbrock headers, The airtubes have been cut off and tapped plugged with allan bolts and the y pipe has a 3" "test" pipe welded on to replace where the cat would have been. Couple small dents in the cross over pipe no big deal. I bought the headers in 97' and had them coated by Airborne Coatings last summer $240. The car has less than 2,000. miles since 97' and has not been driven at all last 2 years. They have however been run on for 20min. to "test" a blower motor. I also have the matching catback but the muffler has a crack on the seam that I need to repair. The entire catback system has been fully welded and a 3bolt header flange installed where it mates up with the corrasponding header y pipe. The reason I don't use this stuff anymore is because the car is more of a race car and am going to use 1 7/8" to 3 1/5 Hedman headers I have just bought a complete Winston Cup car exhaust that I have in my basment. 3.5 to 4.X2.5 oval, oval xpipe to 12"x1.5 tips. Let me know if you are interested. Bwheaton@massmutual.com
