Did 83 camaro V6s come with cats? Mine doesn't have one but then again the last person who owned it put in a 350. It passed inspection the first time but he didn't look for a cat, I brought a different car there and he checked for a cat, I have to get my camaro inspected again this fall and I'm putting on a new exhaust system this summer. I was told that anything after 81 had to have cats on it. So I'm not sure.

 

No Cat in most states that require testing, that is a Automatic REJECTION.
