exhaust part
What the heck is this piece called, I went to a local gm dealer and after 45 mins they come back with a part number (5234820) said it was called a heater valve and then said the part was 225.66 plus tax. I think they are crazy, anyone have an Idea on this, the piece was lost by the previous owner of the car. Its all I need now to get this car on the road.

Something like the 'exhaust heater valve' or close to that. I had one on my old LG4. When the car is cold, it's supposed to close to recirculate the exhaust to help the intake to warm up faster and improve cold engine driveability.

Yeah, there's no valve in that part. That's where it used to be on other cars and they had to make that piece to fit in there to take up the room. TPI cars didn't need the valve.
I have that part if you still need it, I just installed SLPs and don't need it.
Lemme know...ebmiller88@aol.com or PM me.
