Loudest Cat with Catback

Ok I am getting some hedman headers with 3 inch y pipe and either getting a Hooker 3 inch catback or getting one made up with a Spintech in 3 inch. What is the loudest high-flow cat...Catco? Magnaflow? Car Sound? Clips appreciated!

First of all, I would go with that spintech muffler. As for a cat., I am running a carsound and am pleased with it; no complaints. I mean I can't say I am jumping up and down about it because come on, cat. converters just plain suck! Well, they do help the enviroment a little which as Martha would say, "It's a good thing". Oh, and magnaflow and carsound are the same thing. I'm not sure which would be louder, don't you mean which muffler wold be louder? When you get right down to it, all new cats. are considered to be "high-flow", just don't waste your money on one of those random tech. ones. -89IRO

Loud noise is not going to improve what you have up front.

Thanks for clearing that up...All this exhaust is going in with my 390 HP 327 this month, Thats why Im asking. I am doing all the exhaust at the same time as the swap. And I'm not going for "LOUD" either, I am going for a NICE tone, just wanted to know which of those cats would give the most flow and sound to compliment my catback.

Quote "What is the loudest hi-flow cat...." . The best Hi-Flow Cat
would be a direct fit Catco (not the loudest) so you could have a ' NICE TONE " with your new motor. Yea! the louder the better.....
