Ok, lookin into a set of headers. Car is a 91, l98, dual cat car.
I know the optimal header for this car is the SLP 1-3/4 and yes I will be gettin whatever ones i get with Jet Hot on them. However, I cant justify the 700-800 bux on a set of headers that will just have to have 1 or more tubes mashed in. Now i see there are no problems with the 1-5/8's , so thats a possibility. I also read in GMHTP that they used a set of DYNOMAX headers, adapted the y-pipe that came with them to the dual cats. SO that also opens up another option. EDELCRAP is out of the question, I have seen them and Im not interested. Does Hooker make a setup that with work in the same way dynomax does? Yes I will be keeping all the smog crap, and no, I am not gonna use longtubes.
So I guess my question has been narrowed down to does Hooker make a setup that can have the y-pipe cut and adapted like the Dynomax's?

I would go with slp 1 3/4 or hooker 2055 both come with the y-pipe. The slp has a setup for duel cat cars not sure if the 2055 will or not. I didnt have to dent the slp that much to make it fit. If you end up going with hooker you can get them strate from jet hot which would be nice so you only pay for shipping once.
