Deep..throaty at idle. But that is with a carb motor..they sound different from FI.Cruising is a bit loud..but I have no cats either.WOT is pretty damn loud..but not obnoxious INHO.Only complaint I have is when I let off after a hard run..the raspy crackle pop it gives off on decelleration...I could go without that.I had the same setup on my old 305TPI T/A and was very happy with it..it didn't have that decel crackle pop bull either.I bought it for the fact it was cheap ($228 thru Jeg's)..was better flowing than the crossflow crap..if I am going to have two tailpipes..it better be true duals..and it is aluminized for rust resistance over the years.I looked into the Mufflex 4" but couldn't justify spending almost double what I paid for mine for 1 more inch.I put a cut out on instead. In all honesty I am sick of the Flowmaster sound and am thinking of getting a Spintech muffler this summer..but I would still recommend the Force II for the price and performance.

i have the flowmaster force II catback with no cat and the setup in the sig. it sounds perfect in my opinion. its not too loud or quiet, its just right. it definitely is not a head turner if youre driving normally, but you dont have to get your ear up next to it to hear it either. with the 3.73s im cruising around 2500 rpm on the highway, and it isnt too loud. if youre running a cat though, it might be pretty quiet. great for a sleeper look. i have the rattling crackle thing happen when i rev it and the rpms are falling back down, but not when im in gear. it does flow better than the crossflow version and is $100 cheaper so it was a pretty easy decision for me. i recommend this catback to anyone who doesnt want an obnoxiously loud exhaust, but does want a good sound along with performance.
