1. Do the Edelbrock TES Headers come with a Y-Pipe??
2. What size Cat wouild I need to go between said headers and a Hooker 3" cat back system. My cat is old and I want a new one to complete the exhaust system.

1) Yes, they do.
2) There's more than one way to answer that. There were different exhaust systems used on 305's in 1988, depending upon what induction system was used (TBI or TPI). Edelbrock makes TES to fit either one. The typically preferred approach when replacing the whole system is to get the TES, direct-fit high-flow cat, and cat-back for the '86-'90 TPI single-cat application. That gives you a good-flowing 3" system from y-pipe to muffler.
