Need help with ordering hooker y-pipe
I have a set of Hooker shorty 2055s without a y-pipe. I need to order the y-pipe from somewhere and heres what I have found out so far.
Jegs will need to special order it from hooker, and I don't know the cost yet.
Summits tech line is long distance, but my dad has ordered one in the past and it took 8-12 weeks. He cancelled the order and got Edelbrock headers with a y-pipe.
I have yet to talk to Jet hot but I hope I can get a nice price on a coated y-pipe.
Does anyone know if jet hot will take my used headers to sandblast and coat them?
If their are any more options, please let me know.

Jet Hot will coat used headers.
The "special order" y-pipe goes something like this: 1) Hooker gets the word that somebody wants a y-pipe for their 2055 headers; 2) They make a note to themselves to make an extra y-pipe the next time they make a 2055 production run; 3) When they do the run, they will make as many extra y-pipes as they have requests for them; 4) they ship out the y-pipes to those who have requested them.
Sounds like Jegs and Summit are willing to play the middleman with Hooker. I don't know if Jet Hot will or not. Best bet would be to call and ask them.
