well after a lot of debating on what i should do, i think i found a good solution. i got a completlystock exhaust system in my car right now, from headers to the stock tailpipes . im going to englishtown on 7/25 to race, and my car is basically stock. i figure i should at LEAST have some sort of rumble comin out of the exhaust...

anyway, this is what i want to do. i want to get a ravin muffler, p/n RA33305. its a 3" inlet and dual 3" outlet. if you're catching on to what i wanna do, then you'll know that since my stock intermediate pipe is 2.5" and my current setup wont fit with the new muffler. ALSO, my stock muffler has an inlet on one side, and 2 outlets on BOTH sides, whereas the ravin muffler has the inlet on one side and the 2 outlets on the opposite end. follow me? lol...well i went to meinike and told them what i wanted and they quoted me at $275 for a new i-pipe and all the fabrication work done, everything welded in. provided i bring them the muffler and tips that i want. does that sound good? what do you think of my setup?? its going on a 350 engine, stock everything on the exhaust, single cat.

Have you ever heard ravin exhaust on a v-8? My freind has it ans it sounds like all the other hondas on the streets. On the otherhand, I have a single 3" inlet to dual 2.5" outlets, one chamber flowmaster. In less you like a LOUD exhaust I wouldn't suggest it either. Better off with a 2 chamber flowmaster or something else.

WTF man...you just burst my bubble...lol . i heard the sounds clip of MetalliCamaroRS's exhaust and it sound downright monsterous. granted, he has headers too, but i want to get the z-33 class which is more aggressive than the z-55, which is what MetalliCamaroRS has i think.

MetalliCamaroRS, you wanna jump in? i never heard ravin in real life, so i guess my opinion doesnt have too much weight in the debate on how it sounds in real life.

I agree, stock exhaust doesn't. Aftermarket is where most people go wrong.

Aftermarket usually means louder...There is no way for a V-8 to sound like a 4 banger if it gets louder, Thats like Me Saying my 4 wheeler sounds like a 454, The sound just isnt possible!
