Any recent Pacesetter experiences?
I e-mailed a guy on eBay about a set of cheapie Pacesetter headers/y-pipe for my GTA. I asked about the diameter of the primaries and the fit/finish, due to their unflattering reputation. He said that they're 1 5/8" primaries (everywhere else says 1 1/2", but he specifically said that they "really are 1 5/8"") and that the fit/finish ("clearance" was his word) was less than great on the earlier units but has been corrected.
So, has anyone had any recent experience? If they're workable I'd consider a set for my 'bird and my Jimmy (It has a cracked Y-pipe anyway). Yeah I know, you get what you pay for, but when you're looking for two sets...

I guess "you get what you pay for" still holds true. I e-mailed a guy who bought a set recently. He's thrilled with them, but he said that the primaries are still 1 1/2" ID. I think I'll hold out for a good price on a set of Hookers (ahem).
