OK, im looking for a cheap set of Longtubes, so Heddmans seems like a good deal $120 but from what i hear, they won't work with a manual transmission,

but i don't have a T-5, i have a 4-Speed saginaw(damn my '82, they didn't do anything right that year)

and i don't have a hydraulic clutch, its a manul, so will the headers fit,

i would buy hooker longtubes, but their too f*ing expensive.

Some help from someone that knows the answer would really be appreciated.

I already know that they barely fit with an auto, and im not exactly sure if anyone has succesfully installed them with a T5

If it works with a T5 it should work with a 4 speed shouldn't it? The 4 speed isn't wider than the T5 is it? I thought the T5 was just longer?

 

From what I've heard you have to bend to collector down a bit to clear the slave cylinder. Other than that they should work fine. I'm installing a set soon here (after I pay off tuition) so we'll see what modifications must be done to make them fit.
