iam sorry for talking out of my ***. i must of been drunk when i said they were amazing. dont get me wrong, the mandrell bent 3" was nice, but my comments on the sound were so far off. i got my alston (love them) sfc's installed today and we had to move the cat to install the one side. i was like fock it, lets remove it completely. the guy cut it out and tossed it ont he floor. it was all plugged and broken inside. the cat was replaced with a straight pipe. when i drove off of the hoist, i could notice a little different sound, but thought nothing of it. when i drove off, i gave it a little rpm, and i do belive i had an orgasm when i herd the new exhaust. i couldnt belive such a huge change in sound with the cat gone now. it sounds like a totally different exhaust. sounds like such a bad *** V8 now. if anyone still has their cat on, make an apointment to get it removed tomorow. jesus, what a difference. i love it

 

cat removed... gotta love it! altho i did headers at the same time so it i never heard the difference just the cat made... but it's gone and thats all that matters!!

Same here, I put on my headers on and gutted my cat all at the same time, I couldnt figure out which gave it the nice new sound, its alot louder at idle too which I like.

i know i love how it sounds with out the cat.And all i have is the muffler and that it with the stock 2 1/4 or 3/4 anyway there the orgional tail pipes from the 305 tbi .
