Pipe Question
I am ready to put an exhaust on my 92 Camaro RS, I've already decided that I want to go with a flowmaster setup, but I haven't figured out the best way to go about doing it yet.
Right now I have a single outlet Borla muffler on there and it's got (fairly) new 2.5" pipe running from the origional cat to the muffler... this brings me to my question. Am I better off leaving that 2.5" pipe on there and just buying the flowmaster muffler and tailpipes, or should I scrap that idea and get a high flow cat and run 3" pipe back? Or should I wait and do headers and exhaust at the same time? Also I have been reading about the bends in the pipe make a difference. So am I better off leaving it as is, or running 3" pipe, or running new 2.5" flowmaster pipe?
I know that's a lot to take in, but if anyone could give me their $ .02 I'd really appreciate it.

i have a 3" cat back with a flowmaster muffler on my '91 and it works well. i like it. It sounds really burly when you jump on it. Which is exactly what you need in your everyday driver
