Borla c/b and SLP headers ?
I just got done installing a LT1 and a Comp 230/236 camshaft. When I ran the car with open headers it did not shake much at all, now with the Borla catback on it shakes my teeth loose. Its this normal ? also I installed the smallest plate that came with the adj. system........ Thanks

Got me...Could you possibly be hitting the driveshaft with the cat back?
I clicked here to get your opinions on the Borla. I'm also running the SLPs and I am strongly considering the Borla to go with it. Why did you choose it? Any info appreciated.

Ed, save the money, get hooker or banks, use the money to take your wife out to dinner!!! (tell her amanda and I said hi).
as to answer the posters question, it could be heat shield vibration, muffler or over axle pipe coming in contact with the body. get under the car and see how close everything is... i heard borla comes with multipile parts, and maybe things are touching the frame... just an idea.

I took out the small plate and and put in the wide open one and everythings ok now. Must have been choking the sh*t out of this healty LT1.... I bought it years ago when they first hit the market, paid $ 430 from racenet.net back then. alot of things I do to my car I get the ideas from message boards like this one. The shop that installed it told me it was a bit*h to install and he never wants to see another one..........
