o2 placement

i am getting a set of longtubes and was wondering about where to put the o2 sensor - i am sure that the wire is not long enough to reach the collectors? also should i get a different 02 with my headers?

The oxygen sensor wire runs into a harness that runs toward the collectors. You can pull it out of the harness and you should have plenty of wire to run to your o2 sensor. A three wire sensor will go to ready faster and stay there even at idle giving more accurate feedback to the ECM, You can install it in the collector or in the reducer, if you really wanted you could install it in the y-pipe too. TPIS's 3 wire comes with a 3 prong weather connecter to make the install look factory, which is what I used. Check out my other post.
