L69 and High-Flow Cat

Who makes a four-bolt, high-flow cat for the L69?

I've done some seaching, but I've only found one four-bolt (Catco), which is made for a Vette. I've seen nothing, and I mean nothing, for a direct-fit to an L69.

Oops, I overlooked the part: CTO-4116.

The L69 cat, IIRC, is the same as that used on the Corvette.

I just got a Catco from Summit. Called them up and told them what car I had, they sent me the correct part (much to my surprise).
Yes the L69's came with a "Corvette" cat, but the L69 uses a different "F body" flange/bolt pattern then the Vette.

Hey James.
You only need to show your Signature once per thread. Not every post. Waste of bandwidth.

I'm currently using the 'Vette converter. It is, however, a different part number (CTO-9143) from the number I've listed above. It looks a bit different as well, as can be seen at Summit. The four-bolt flanges must be the same or very, very similiar, since the 'Vette converter bolted up--as I recall--as if stock to the L69 system. The y-pipe outlet and the 'Vette converter inlet, in my opinion, don't mate well. Quite frankly, the 'Vette converter appears to neck down considerably.

JamesC

You're correct about the band width.

Catco #4116. Bolted right up in my 83 L69.
