Q1
how is the installation of the SLP or the edelbrock TES headers and Ypipe. just to clear on what i am asking, do the fit right in or do i need to move and bend things (not how to install them).
Q2

All i think you may have to do is disconnect the steering shaft to get the driver's side header in, but don't quote me on that, i've never installed an SLP/Ede set before.
As for AIR tubes... you can just get some plugs to cap them off. Thats what we do to the exhaust manifolds when we pull the AIR tubes off. They cost about 10 cents each, maybe less.

i am plaining on buying a set w/o AIR. what i am wondering is if people have been having more troubles installing the SLP (1-5/8 w/o AIR p/n30004) headers over other brands.
na its just the slp 1 3/4 that has trouble
i had to dent the one drivers side tube to clear the shaft, and also i had to bend all the brakes lines so i could put them on the other side of the shaft.
to be serious the slp 1 5/8 should fit really well and should not have any clearence problems are all.
all in all i am fairly happy with my headers, o yeah and what ever headers u get you should really consider getting them coated.

looking around on slp website ( www.slponline.com) i saw that they sell a header install ( http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=30018 ) kit for $109.95, that one hell of a gasket! $44.95 of this kit is eat'n up in an AC relocation bracket ( http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...TNUMBER=30010J ). what does this part do? do realy need it? has anybody installed the 1-5/8 headers w/o AIR ( http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...RTNUMBER=30004 ) using or not using this bracket?
