Cracked Y-pipe Temp Fix????

I've got a cracked Y-pipe at the weld where the 2 pipes come together into 1, I was wondering if I could use something like
JB-Weld or Magnum Steel as a temporary fix as I don't want to replace the Y-pipe at this time, I would rather wait until I can afford to get headers and the Y-pipe at the same time. Is this a possible temporary fix?
