I need some suggestions for a customer's car I have in the shop right now. Its a 92 Z 5.7TPI and needs the complete exhaust redone. We have narrowed it down to two choices....both of which are about the same price. Ill make it into a list for easier viewing.



Catco Dual Cat setup(pic below)
Flowmaster Ycollector
Dynomax 3in catback with superturbo muffler

OR

Hedman 68470 shorties
Hedman Ypipe for single cat( I know it originally had duals)
Dynomax 3in catback


I have the Catco dual setup on my car along with the Hedman 68491 dual cat headers(coated) along with the 3in dynomax...I think it sounds great. But, he made a good point about the emissions testing. In Kentucky, if you transfer a car to somebody in your family...it is waived of emissions testing So, he was curious about installing the Hedman headers/Ypipe with a 3in pipe in place of the cat.....for the same price as the Catco dual setup......what would you guys do???? Ill post a pic of the dual cat setup....just imagine it with a Flowmaster "Y" after the cats instead of that horrible place where the pipes are welded.....Need some ideas soon...this is coming this weekend. Thanks in advance guys....
