hi i have a 89 T/A and when im drving in stop and go traffic i hear this whistling noise in back thats really annoying.It comes and goes,Would this be a exhaust leak?

 

naaa.... exhaust leak would be a tapping like sound, whistleing sounds like that A.I.R system. Pipe that goes into the cat and sucks out exhaust and puts it through some charcoal canister to keep the ozone layer safe. I never though it was loud enough to hear, unless you dont have carpet.


The only whistling I hear is from my TBI through the open element. MAN! That thing gets loud sometimes lol.
