Air

Quick question, ive got an air pump on my car and am installing headers soon. i dont want to hook the air pump back up and since i live in michigan, emmissions arent really a problem. So my question is, is removing the air pump going to screw up my o2 sensor?

the air pump dealt with moving air into the cats on my car, i delete the cats and got non air headers with a new stock o2 sensor and its been working fine, no codes at all for the o2 sensor.

you should be fine. AIR only delt with getting air to the cat... nothing involving 02 sensor.

not doubting you or anything but it appears that there are tubes comming from the air pump going to the 'primarys' on the manifolds right now, anyone know what these are? or if it'll affect it at all?

the tubes take air fromt he exhaust and send it to the cat to warm it up. As long as your car is hot, and your exhaust is hot... then you should be fine.
