Which catback exhaust system will sound the best on a 1986 iroc 305 tpi
I have a 1986 iroc and i was wondering which catback system would sound the best. I am basically looking for a loud system so can you give me some ideas on which one will be the loudest on my car.

www.exhaustsoundclips.com I say the loudest is glasspacks.
BUT... glasspacks do blow out over time. They are GREAT for track.. but for a daily driver they might keep the engine a little TOO loud when driving around town
I'de suggest HOOKER AERO-CHAMBER (it's the sweetest sounding thing in the world).. although the Flowmaster is pretty good too...
I think I answered a different thread of yours... and the key to loudness is in the headers and cat... (or lack there of).. and a 3" i-pipe is a MUST

well,if you want a gret sound at idle and Head turning/neighbor disturbing at wide open throttle & you want a system that will last (stainless ) and is priced right, then the BEST kit avail is the BANKS!...It sounds like nothing else, fit great and will last alot longer than I will have the car....definately consider it
Banks is the company....they have been around forever!..They also make Twin turbo systems etc and a ton of stuff for the diesel engines...The website is www.bankspower.com But you will NOT find any of their F-body stuff listed there.it is a Dealer only item and you need to order from a authorized dealer to get it.Personally I recommend ENTEC @ 801 265 0994 ...They have sold several Banks kits to members here and have provided great prices and service. For the $$ and value of stainless,it is hard to beat!
