Cat removal question

Since my cats were broken up inside I had them cut off, and plan to run pipe until emissions come around and have money for new cats. Question is: If I leave the smog pump alone and leave the air lines open will I hear a blowing noise? I want to be able to make the car emission legal easially when necessary

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I have my air pipe hanging open under the car and I cant hear any blowing noise. The pump doesnt blow enough air, that it would make noise.

What engine is in your car? I assume you had the single cat.? Are there emission tests over there?

Its a 305. Yea, I had a single cat, but I changed to true duals. I dont have cats yet, but I will get them when I have the money. We have emissions tests, but since my car is -88, I dont need a cat. And the car has 10 times lower emissions than needed to pass the test even with out the cat
