Questions about header gaskets and bolts

Well, my hooker 2055's are on the way and now I'm wondering about gaskets and bolts.

Gaskets - I know anything is better then what they send you. So, do I go with the copper ones or the soft aluminum ones? Any brand recommendations?

Bolts - I've heard both good things and annoying things about the Stage 8 bolts. Will any good bolt do (ie ARP) or does it really matter? Or are Stage 8 bolts a necessity? If so, what size are yall using?

Semper Fi,

Any copper or aluminum gasket will work fine, I'm using Percy's Aluminum and haven't had a problem. You can even use a good Fel-Pro gasket if you want. The trick though is keeping the header bolts tight. It doens't really matter which bolts you go with as long as they stay tight. When they loosen is when gaskets will blow/leak. If you don't want to touch the bolts after you put them in, I reccomend the Stage 8 bolts. Otherwise if you don't mind tightening them every one in a while (every oil change would be good) then you can go with some ARP stainless ones or something of that sort.
