i have a big problem.. i cant get my passenger side valve cover off because of the a.i.r. tube going right over it. ican take everything off but the bolt that holds a clamp over the air tube on the back of the passenger side head. this is an 89 tpi any ideas on how to get to it or what anyone else has done about this because i have to do the valve seals very soon. (mosquitos hate me!)

Your best bet is to try and bend the air tubes away from the valve cover. I don't know about anybody else but I disconnect the coolant lines and move them out of the way and also remove the backside of the air pump along with the hoses. It's still a pain to take off but with some persistence, it comes out. Just keep your cool and don’t get pissed.

Also, when you finish putting it back together, check your plug connections at the distributor

thanks for answering its kinda of funny you say that because the first time i pryed the tube out of the way with a screwdriver and almost murdered someone. i was just looking for a more civil way this time but i may go the way of a screwdriver.
