exhaust system choice

currently, I have stock exhaust with just a flowmaster 80 series muffler. I love the way that it sounds at idle, but sound like crap crusing

What i am looking for is an exhaust system that will give me the same (or louder) sound as the flowmaster at idle, and a good sound at crusing (WOT sound means nothing to me).

Any suggestions as well as part numbers and estimated costs? (I dont know how to weld, so any welding would have to be done by a shop, so bolt-on/together would be preferable) Thanks ahead of time.

HOOKER cat back man! Nothing looks meaner the a set of quad 3 inch tips coming out the back like 4 cannons! Plus the sound is perfect for idle and at WOT. Plus, its pretty cheap.

I'm debating between the cat-backs from Hooker, SLP ( I really like the sound), but I've never heard the Banks on a thirdgen. Anyone have any sound slips of the 3?

I think the Hooker is a good deal, but I don't care for the sound too much. I heard the SLP and LOVE the sound. Would it be practical to buy the Hooker cat-back and just get the SLP muffler in place of the Hooker muffler?

the SLP system for thirdgens is a two-to-one-side set up. It has dual exits on the driver side, so you might have an alignment problem... but other then that yeah, you could put the slp muffler on there.
