i have a manderel bent i piope that my dad put onmy car before i bought it. this cost him alot of money $280 or sumthoing and is a great peice. i want to runa single spintech 2.5" muffler on it ad i would like to know how much that kind of setup would be able to support b4 it starts to choke my motor.

That's funny.. the intermediate pipe isn't bent on my car. $280 for that is like paying $60 for a pack of gum.

 

oh i know-

it is my 1st car, and when i bought it my father went to pick it up for me. she ha d a cuple problems lik the I pipe, panhard rod, and a couple of other little problems that where fixed and needed to pass inspection last year. , i would just like to know if the 2.5" walker pipe would be good enough for 275hp.

 

I have a 305 TPI that's currently making at least 280hp and the Y-pipe that feeds into the single catalytic converter is only 2.25" so you should be okay with 2.5". But I don't think your power will go much higher. I know mine's choking with that 2.25" bottleneck -- I'll be changing to the dual-cat system very soon.
