I have an 86 305 v-8 Camaro and my friend has an 89 v-6 Firebird. I would like to get his exhaust system from the headers back, but i want to make sure that it will fit my car before I do that. I know the headers are different, but after the headers, i don't know.

Anyone that can help, it will be appreciated. Thank you.

 

What size is the exhaust? Does he have a cat with a reducer/expander? I know the routing is the exact same but I am not sure what size the aftermarket v6's systems are or what the size of the v6 y-pipe is.
