I just got my spintech muffler and they sent me one with a 2.5 in inlet insted of a 3 in inlet i have 3 inch pipe from the cat 2 the muffler. Will this hurt performance if i have a shop put the one i have on ?? I don't wanna ship it back because i have been having problems with this place that i ordered it from

 

Is it a 2.5 in and 3 out? If thats the real case and your having problems I would say go for it and put it on. It couldnt hurt that much.

 

its 2.5 in and dual 2.5 out but the pipe behind the cat that goes to the muffler is 3 in so the would have 2 put a reducer on it

 

That is a load of crap. You need to get what you paid for. Don't put it on there if its 2.5 in/out Send it back to the company and tell them if you don't get what you ordered than you will get it somewhere else and you need your money back. What company is this by the way. I have had no problems with either Jegs nor Summit.

 

It was from gofastparts.com. Its been nothing but bs i ordered the muffler september 4th then i returned that one because i ordered the wrong one I shipped that next day and it cost me $30 and then i finally get my muffler yesterday and its the wronf one so i told them i didn't want a muffler from them anymore. Then they want me 2 pay to have it shipped back and pay a 20 % restocking fee. Im waiting for them 2 call me back tomorrow and maybe i'll just get the muffler i need because if i don't then im gonna pay like $ 70 and still not have a muffler. Some advice if you want a spintech muffler order it directly from spintech gofastparts.com sux
