Tips on separating u-joint clamped exhaust pipes ?
I'm trying to separate my catback from my y-pipe (they were held on with u-joint clamps) but ahem... I don't seem to be able to. I've used rust penetrant and everything..
Is there a tip or trick of the trade ?? I've tried using a 5lb mallet and a chisel, etc...
If I don't hear from anyone..I'm going to buy a SawzAll from Walmart and just chop it off.....
Thanks in advance!!
