how big is to big?

how big is to big?

hey sup was just wondering wat the biggest size of headers u can but on a LG4 engine(is 1 5/8 good enough or is 1 3/4 better

1 5/8 is big enough for a 305, i ran them on my 350 and 383 also, my biggest restriction was my y-pipe. i didn't even get 1 3/4 until i got the 406. generally, 1 3/4 is good for 350# CID

I'd say stick to 1 5/8". You don't need anything more, especially for a 305. I wouldn't reccomend 1 3/4" unless you're pushing over 450-500 ponies.

too big is when you can stick your fist in it and its only a 305
