hello!! I while ago i installed 2055 hooker headers on my car.....
when i drove it today i noticed i had a header leak, i dont now how i got the leak....... but do i lose hp with the leak?
How hard should i tighten the header bolts..?

They will most definately leak always unless you use some type of softmetal gasket......use stainless lock washers on your bolts too

 

yeah, i use all stainless hardware, with lock washers, and in 4 years i have only had one bolt come loose.

not sure if that is why, but its working for me...
