welded hanger broke
On the passenger side, the hanger that holds near the muffler the weld broke causing the passenger side exhaust tip to tilt. Is there any way that I would be able to "ghetto rig" a universal hanger to function in place of the one that was welded and broke?
Also, what size bolts are used to hold the driver side hanger?

It appears the same thing happened to mine on the drivers side before I got the car. What's there now it what kinda looks like a thick leather belt thats holding up the tip by an exhaust clamp. This "belt" has about 7 or 8 holes for 1/2 or maybe 9/16 bolts, so you can adjust the height. You can probably get it at any parts store that sells stuff like exhaust clamps and stuff.
I say 'leather belt' because i dont know what its really called, lol, but thats exactly what it looks like.
I've seen them with steel straps too.

There are universal hangers out there that are either used with a muffler clamp, or have a u-bolt built into them. Either should work.
Not sure about the bolt size question.

I've been trying to think of a way to fix this problem. The best idea that I could come up with is to, somehow, tie the passenger side up but that didn't work. So now it looks like I have to waste more money by taking it to a garage.
