How big are my Exhaust pipes

I was wondering if anyone could tell me
what the size of the xhaust pipe is right before my catalytic converter it
is stock I have a 1992 camaro RS V-8 305 is it 2.5" or or 2 1/4"? and also
if it is 2 1/4" Would a 2 1/2" cut out still fit it?"

2-1/4" OD.

Whether the cut-out fits depends upon the 2-1/2" being ID or OD. Either way, it shouldn't be too big of a deal to install.

Correct, I used to have a 2.5" cut-out installed in my stock 2.25" exhaust.
