edelbrock tes-headers
I have a TA 85 lg4 and want to use Edelbrocks TES headers. I dont know however if I should use the lg4 version since the lg4 has a 2 1/4" converter inlet. Im not going to use the stock converter Im getting a high flow 3" inlet and outlet converter. Could I use the TPI or HO headers to make sure the y-pipe that come with the headers is 3"?

tes headers
Hi Kevs87Z28,
That sounds great since the TPI headers are available chrome plated! I have a question more that I sent You on email. Hope You have got time to reply.
Thanks
Hasse

I bought a set of headers for my 83 Z and bought the TPI setup
but the Y pipe was no bigger than stock Y pipe,it was just 3" from the converter back.....but I'll tell ya one thing it sounded some sweet and always got compliments on the exhaust, and even though the Y pipe wasnt a big pipe it flowed excellent .
good luck
