I thought 4th gen cat-backs would work on ours?

I looked at my buddies '97 Z28 and the routing looks the same as ours.
Though mounting points may be different.

I'm probably wrong.

It will work, the exhaust is the EXACT same from the cat, back. Only difference is size.

the only differnce is the bend for the over the axel pipe, my brother has the SLP loudmouth on his 91 z28 and that was the only major problem we saw with the 4th gen exuast puttin on a 3rd gen but it still fit great and doesnt bang or rub on anything.

no it is not the exact same from the cat back, it is the same from the muffler back, the lt1 i pipe is somewhat different from our intermediate pipe.... with some modification it will fit with no problem.... it should be worth buying if its at a good price.... and if anyone has any doubts about what im saying... do a search for my name and the exhaust board... me and a few people finaly figured this out a while ago.

This is correct. My Lt1 has a sharp bend in it after the cat before it heads to the back of the car. My 3rds gens sorta goes straight back from the cat. I wanted to do the opposite of everyone and put my 3" hooker 3rd gen system on my 4th gen while my 3rd gen sits. This seems like there will be to much fab work to justify the effort.
