Hooker 2055's and Timing
I've never done a header install before, and was just wondering if after installing the hooker 2055's or any type of header, does the timing have to be advanced or is there any other fine-tuning issues i need to deal with? Thanx.

Depends on the car and what other mods you have. You do not have to touch the timing unless it is still set at 0* from the factory. You don't need any mods to advance it a few degrees. You may need to make some fuel pressure adjustments. Some people run a little lean with headers but most don't. I never did.

I haven't done anything, but mine doesn't run as perfect as I'd like it to. However, I suspect it is the LT1 intake that made the changes in how it runs, not the headers.

It will run great, but there will always be some improvement in prom tuning it, because you're allowing the engine to flow better.
Don't worry about how it will run though, you'll like it.
