Need A.I.R part

I have moved from a place with no inspections to a place with visual emissions inspection. When I built my rig (90 Jeep Wrangler with 305 TPI motor), I kept the A.I.R system intact except I threw out the tube that goes from the A.I.R. pump to the cat converter. Does anyone have one that they pulled off and are going to throw away? I figure the next step is to comb the junk yards then seek the Chevy stealership.

I also threw out the extra wiring harness that Painless Wiring includes with their kit to hook up the A.I.R. pump. I may be able to get away with the connectors not being there, but if they visually inspect it and see a tube missing, I doubt it would pass.

When I had my exhaust installed, I had them run dual cats. Do you think it would be a problem if I only hooked up one cat to the A.I.R. pump, or should I run a splitter to both?

Fortunately, they do not run a sniff test, but I think it would pass as it is either way.

Matt

Forget the AIR I wanna know how you passed with a small block in a Jeep. Didn't they notice that first? Or is it legal to do?

I didn't pass anything.... Michigan doesn't even have any sort of inspection, but NC has a visual inspection (some counties even have a sniffer test). I moved here a couple years ago but have kept the Michigan plate. I am up there enough that I could justify having two residences. Now, I am looking to move to Lexington, NC full time and need to get it inspected.

I've heard many things from many different sources, most of which have been heresay and speculation on what will happen. I want to have my bases covered in case they fail me based on not having this tube and harness connected. I already found out that I can get the harness to connect the A.I.R. pump for $25, now I just need to get this tube and I should be golden even if they do a full visual inspection (and actually know what the hell they are looking at - most of the inspection monkeys are high school dropouts who wouldn't know a small block chevy motor from a Cummins diesel).

Does anyone know if there is some sort of hi-temp hose I can just buy what will connect to the cat and not melt?
