ceramic coating used slp's

anyone have any experience with coating used stainless.i'm concerned that maybe the coating isent adhered as well and thats why the coaters only offer a 1 year warrenty.i'm thinking of having mine coated but if it only lasts a year before it comes off then it hardly seems worth the cost.
anyone have a set they used then coated over 3years old that are still in great shape or do i need to sell my set and get a new set to have a coating that lasts?

used coating

Hello, The reason for the 1 yr warranty is used headers sometimes have some rust very deep in the pores and in a high humitidty it has occasinally been known to start rusting around a collector or something like that after a couple of years. As far as sticking we have coated some pretty nasty (major rust) headers before and we have never had a problem with adhesion. The $140 you spend coating and maybe $20 for shipping is nominal compared to the replacement price!!!
We double chemical treat and strip the headers to free the metal of any forigen substanse as deep into the pores as can possibly be done with out being brand new.
I hope this info helps you out a little
Thanks

Being stainless you should have alot better rust protection!!!
Once our coating is on it is a Lot of trouble to remove it!!!

IF theyre sand blasted before you coat them it wont be a problem.

dave i understand your issues with rust.so would i get a better product if i had them sand blasted first?
like you pointed out the slp's are stainless and appear to only have some slight surface discolor.
to be honest money is not the issue having a product that lasts is. basically the slps should last the life of the car. anyone know what the expected life of the coating would be? could they be recoated again if i starts coming off or what exactly happens?
thanks
