so there's a lot going around about glasspacks like Thrush being restrictive. is this true? any one know the CFM it flows?
i love that gargling sound of open headers but dont want ALL the cops on my a$$.

if i had hooker long tubes with CC Inserts-true dual 2.5" with h pipe- bullets-and custom bends over the rear axle exiting in 4" tips, would this be obnoxiously loud?

yes.. cats make it a lil quieter..


a friend of mine got sick of the noise from his headers->Xpipe->bullets-> dumps under car setup and added cats behind the headers...

now its a lil quieter....

 

so does anyone know if Dynomax Magnum (Thrush)glass packs are restrictive?? i love the sound they make but dont want to sacrafice power as when i get my new 383 stealth rammed stroker with a procharger put in. the 383 is prepped (not finished yet tho)and will be running up to 20PSI.

my other options are:
1.Stainless works chambered tube mufflers
2.the dynomax bullets
3.Summit glass packs
4. car chemistry tube mufflers

if anyone knows what some of these sound like and/or how much they flow, please let me know

2 bullets are the same thing as glasspacks.. only shorter.
3 just like thrush glasspacks
4 i dont know.. i still have yet to find someone that runs them.


a electric cutout is always a great compermise... make your exhaust quiet and open the cutout when you want to be heard (and have a free flowing exhaust)
