muffler question
I was wondering if anyone knew of a muffler that honestly would sound powerful on the outside and yet mild enough on the inside so that I could listen to my tunes when I want to. I was thinking about the Deltaflow 40 from Flowmaster, but I don't think the sound bite they have on that Mustang will make me feel comfortable in putting one in my Camaro. Any suggestions, thanks.

Before I got headers and a high flow cat my Hooker cat-back provided what you want. It was docile at idle and really woke up when I stood on it. There wasn't any drone at crusing speeds and my stereo was easily heard. I think you will find that most cat-backs for the most part provide this. Some however, are a bit louder at idle and some have rasp and drone at cruising speeds.
