Has anyone tried to do this install. Little did I know when i ordered my full lenth headers from summit, that there was a plate that sticks into the side of the tranny where the clutch is engaged and disengaged from. Obviously they did not know that either because the sales men i talked to mentioned nothing about wiether my car was manual or automatic. I'm just wondering if there is something I can do? Because to me it just looks like i'm out of luck and I'll have to try and send them back for some shorty's?

 

I have done some searching and I see in the search that i did, that some people have already come across this topic with installing the hedman 68460 headers on a t-5 transmission. However in my search I could not find any specific articles on how to make this work. Please respond. I would not like to be out a car for that long. Thank you

This is an article from thirdgenresource.com. They are installing Hooker longtubes with a T56, so it's not exactly what you have going on, but it might shed some light on what you might have to do to get them to fit. Good luck
