Air/Fuel ratio gauges...please clarify

Hey guys, I want to put in this A pillar pod in my car and put in one of the two Air/Fuel ratio gauges I have listed below.

Question 1: If I do this how do I hook them up? Do I need the oxygen sensor kid listed below? Do I need a wiring harness? Can I use a sock oxygen sensor? Any information would be geatly appretiated.

Question 2: What gauge to you guys like better? The Nordskog has a lifetime waranty but the autometer is a well...autometer. Do you guys have any experience with these?

The guage can splice directly into your existing o2 sensor wiring, so you don't need the kit. I would get the Autometer, but that's because that's all i've ever ran (besides some VDO guages that have come in previous cars).

I have the autometer to but I gheuss it is more for looks. It only works under WOT (which I geuss is important) and all of the other time it just bounces back and forth as the O2 volts constantly change. Kinda annoying but you get used to it. It is really easy to hook up and took maybe a couple of hours. It has 3 wires. One goes to an empty 12v source in your fuse block, another goes to a ground, and the third goes to your O2 wire. I think it spilices right into the harness and not the lead wire of the O2 if I remeber correctly. Anyways, the instructions are clear and will guide you through it. You will need to take off your A pillar and drill the little holes so that you can mount the thing. A few test fits will be needed before you drill. You will laso have to cut a small chunk out to get your wires through it. I have mine so that it is about .125" above my dash on the pillar. it looks cool but that is about it. Cool for WOT but useles everywhere else.

I am really happy with my Autometer A:F gauge, wiring the biotch up was very simple and directions are included. After using it for a year I actually was able to roughly read it just cruising around. A handy gizmo for tuning and everyone says "Woah, what's that?"
