I just wanted to get some peoples info and see what kind of info i can find. I have been looking all over the net and cant seem to make up my mind. Right now i have a flowmaster system on my formula and i love it. Only prob is that the car is getting older and the system isnt stainless steel or anything...so thats going as well. I def want to put my chrome tips on it again cause i think it really dresses the car up...but what is everyones input on systems and muffers? Ive been to flowmasters site and heard all there sound clips......still cant make up my mind though. I want a nice deep rumble.......so you can def hear that im comin down the road.....but dont want to go def also. I need to change the cat as well. Please, any info at al would be really helpfull. Thanks.

 

Did you try a search? It may be time for headers and a high flow cat. That will make your car louder. It seems that flowmaster rumbles the best at idle but suffers from drone and rasp up top. It is also proven not to flow the best but will suffice for nearly stock cars. Many other brands are quieter at idle but sounds a lot better up top. Any aftermarket exhaust will sound better and rumble more than a stock set-up. Motor work will also change the sound as well.
