Do you want a nice flowing exhaust system, or a dual system?

Do you want a nice flowing exhaust system made for your car that you can install yourself for a nice price, or a dual system?

In case you can't tell yet, dual exhaust on 3rd gens is a "pipe dream". Yes, many have done it, but truth is few need it, and more do it because of "muscle car" nostalgia rather than for pure performance.

Look over the stickies at the top of this forum, and posts on this forum for the past month or so. You'll get an idea of the difference between what is possible and what is wise & practical.

AIR is all the smog stuff, i.e. the tubes attatced to the headers.

You may think your car has duals on it now, but in reality it is a single exhaust system with a crossflow muffler, which exits in dual tips. If you had 2 mufflers than you would have true duals, but I'm sure everyone would agree with me that you don't have true duals. You can get a cat-back kit and still have dual exits like you do now, and the performance gain isn't much over doing true duals, or so I've heard. You can pick your sound from a lot of brands. Headers and a high-flow cat wouldn't be a bad idea either. I'm sure everyone on here who would help you with this is wondering, just as I am, what type of car (engine, blah blah) are you doing this to.
